What is UMTS? UMTS is a new high-speed service that provides wireless mobility at broadband speed. UMTS service is available only in select metro coverage areas and through AT&T Wireless only.
UMTS-enabled phones make possible streaming video (Movie trailers, News clips, Sports highlights, Weather reports) and audio, colorful icons, video multimedia messaging (MMS), and cool new games.
The UMTS network is currently available in the greater metro areas of Seattle, San Francisco, Phoenix and Detroit by AT&T Wireless.
